Indiana Media Consumption Study, presented by IBA Executive Director Dave Arland

In 2024, IBA commissioned SmithGeiger to study the media consumption habits of more than 1,500 Hoosiers and we learned a great deal about what people watch and listen to, and where they spend their time online. The insights in the first Indiana Media Consumption Study may be surprising, and certainly the results will help any sales team looking to add home improvement, legal, and health services clients.

The only thing constant in broadcasting is change. Technology, audience, staffing and other factors make it challenging to figure out the right moves and make the best decisions. In this “swirl,” it’s harder than ever for leaders to know where to place their bets, because it’s hard to know where things are heading. This will be a fast-paced exploration designed to stimulate thinking to help managers put the decisions they are making today – and tomorrow – in perspective.
